Dr Meades graduated with Honours from Sydney University in 1977 and spent four years at hospitals in New South Wales, including as Senior Resident in Ophthalmology at Repat General Hospital Concord.
Dr. Meades is the first female ophthalmologist to perform laser vision correction in Australia.
Associate Professor Chandra Bala specialises in cataract, cornea and refractive surgery at personalEYES, Sydney, and is also a clinical associate professor at the Australian School of Advanced Medicine, Macquarie University.
He is a fellowship trained refractive surgeon. He is an inventor and clinical associate professor at Macquarie University.
